VJ Keith makes film debut with 'Sixteen'

Popular VJ Keith who is best remembered for the music video Nahi Nahi Abhi Nahi where he featured with Ayesha Takia is all set to make his big screen debut with Sixteen directed by debutant Raj Purohit. Keith plays a writer who returns to his roots in Delhi from abroad and is penning a book. Through his eyes unfolds the story of how the age of 16, which used to be the age of innocence and sweetness has changed and kids are growing up fast. Says Keith, who is currently hosting shows on TV, “I loved the way my character is intertwined with others in the film.

It is a sensitive and heart warming film dealing with that confusing yet romantic age that we have all been through. It’s not often that a script like this comes your way and that was the reason why it was irresistible.”  Besides him, the film has four new faces Izabelle Leite, Mehak Manwani, Wamiqa Gabbi and Highphill Mathew making their debut. Brazilian model Izabelle was recently in the news as the rumoured girlfriend of cricketer Virat Kohli.
