'Two and a Half Men' is about to end its 12 year long run, it has been revealed.

Nina Tassler, head of entertainment for CBS, revealed the news saying that it's important to keep the interest of the fans going and the network will be trying to win back it's younger viewers now, Stuff.co.nz reported.

The TV series, which was once the highest-rated TV comedy in the US, had even replaced show's star Charlie Sheen, after he made some disapproving comments about creator Chuck Lorre, and was replaced by Ashton Kutcher in 2011.

Though the show did make it to the top 25 programs in the ratings after the transition to Ashton Kutcher, but had been surpassed by other CBS hits.
