TV's most loved on-screen couple Asad-Zoya set to wed at Taj Mahal

The much-awaited wedding of Zoya (Surbhi Jyoti) and Asad (Raqesh Vashisth) will happen on Valentine’s Day!  And the wedding sequence will be shot in the backdrop of Taj Mahal in Agra. Preparations are on for the grand wedding with the cast and crew gearing up for the Agra shoot on February 8. Says Ajay Balwankar, Programming Head, Zee, “Destination weddings have become a trend and we thought since Asad-Zoya are a celebrated couple, whose marriage is eagerly awaited, we should have a lavish wedding.

Taj Mahal is a monument of love and the obvious choice for the couple to tie the knot. Also Qubool Hai is a Muslim social, so it’s perfect,” While it was a hassle to obtain permissions, the makers have managed to find a place which has a perfect view of the symbol of love in the backdrop. Not only is the team flying to Agra, they are offering an open invitation to viewers to join them! “It will be one of the most expensive weddings seen on television,” says Ajay.
