'Tughlaq Durbar' teaser: Vijay Sethupathi shows his good and dark side in upcoming Tamil film

The teaser for Tamil film Tughlaq Durbar is out! Starring Vijay Sethupathi in the leading role, the film hints at his dual personalities or is it a double role? The teaser starts with Vijay being the right-hand man of R. Parthiban and has a winking problem. He soon tells him that there's someone with him, who is using and torturing him. Whereas Parthiban is heard saying that someone who knows everything of their business is taking undue advantage.

The teaser of Tughlaq Durbar then shows the other side of Vijay Sethupathi's character who is an angry, headstrong and more powerful man. This leads to fear in the first one as he has no idea what's happening with him altogether.

Along with Vijay and Parthiban, the film also stars Raashi Khanna, Manjima Mohan, Karunakaran and Samyuktha in pivotal roles. Tughlaq Durbar is directed by Delhiprasad Deenadayalan and is produced by SS Lalitkumar.

Earlier Aditi Rao Hydari was roped in to play the female lead. However, the actor backed out of the project and stated the same. It read as "Keeping the current scenario in mind, I in consultation with the producer, Mr Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio and director Delhi Prasad Deenadayal have decided to take a step back from a project we were all looking forward to. I would like to wish the director, Delhi Prasad, Mr Vijay Sethupathi and the entire team of Tughlaq Durbar the very best."

Aditi has been replaced by Raashi and the announcement was made by the Delhi 6 actor herself.
