She binge watches this TV series...
Currently, she's caught up in the promotions of her upcoming release, Badrinath Ki Dulhania. So what does Alia Bhatt do, when she's not giving interviews? She tries to catch up on TV shows and reading. "I'm currently hooked on Season 8 of Grey's Anatomy and have a bit of catching up to do. And I'm reading Karan's (Johar) biography, An Unsuitable Boy," she told a tabloid.
Alia's a busy girl with back-to-back shoots, and confesses that mom Soni Razdan would be happy if she took a day off to get some rest. "All she wants is for me to get some sleep. Now that we are not living under the same roof, I miss sitting with her in the morning and chatting over coffee. Now I drink coffee alone and that makes me value our time together more. If I see her passing by, I call her for a cup of coffee or to watch a movie with me. I no longer take these moments for granted," she said.
Alia moved into her own pad and though her parents, Mahesh Bhatt and Soni live near by, it's obvious that she misses them a lot. But isn't it fun living on her own? "It's made me more responsible," she admits adding, "But I've barely been there to enjoy my new home. There were some problems, like the plumbing, earlier, but I've taken care of that and things are slowly falling into place."
The young gun reveals that after Badrinath Ki Dulhania releases, she has a few months' break before beginning prep for Dragon, a super-hero fantasy-adventure with Ranbir Kapoor, directed by Ayan Mukerji. The 23-year-old has plans to travel in the meanwhile. “I also want to learn how to cook and play the piano. Earlier, I'd planned to do a film between these two but nothing interesting came my way. Now, I'm glad for the break because once I'm back on set, I'll be nervous and raw again. Also, I find myself getting repetitive in small ways. Maybe I'm imagining or over-thinking but I plan to make good use of this time off," she asserts.
