The makers of The Ghazi Attack have finally unveiled the trailer of the film and it looks quite promising from the word go. The movie is said to be inspired from true events that took place during the Bangladesh Liberation War back in the year 1971.

Touted to be India's first war-at-sea film, The Ghazi Attack is based on one of the conspiracy theories surrounding the events that unfolded in 1971. In a nutshell, it portrays the heroism and courage of 18 naval officers of the Indian Submarine S-21 that destroyed the Pakistani Submarine PNS Ghazi. PNS Ghazi ventured into the Indian waters with the aim of destroying INS Vikrant in order to conquer the Vishakhapatnam port on the eastern coast of India.

In a classified mission, the 18 naval officers fight for the love of their motherland, despite knowing that they won't be acknowledged for the same, even if they give their lives for their country. Amitabh Bachchan lends his voice to this jaw dropping trailer, and gives us a background of the film's premises.

Starring Rana Daggubati, Kay Kay Menon, Atul Kulkarni and Taapsee Pannu in significant roles, the movie looks like an epic saga of patriotism. The film also stars the late veteran actor Om Puri in a crucial role.

The film is slated to hit the theatres on February 17.
