Revealed: Tiger Shroff's homage to his Dadaji

While many saw Tiger Shroff performing to all his hit songs at the IPL ceremony in Rajkot, few know what made the actor perform in that particular city.

Says a source close to the actor, “Rajkot is very close to Tiger’s heart as his father Jackie’s dad (paternal grandpa) Kakubhai Shroff hailed from there. Tiger wore a special Gujarati outfit created by his mother Ayesha and designer Anna Singh who got different fabrics with antique mirror pieces from Ahmedabad. These were sewn together to make a vest with belts on side. The jeans were faded and coloured red, then reworked with mini mirror work embroidered on them to give it a Gujarati style. Finally a white gauntlet from the Original MJ store in USA was used as Tiger is a huge Michael Jackson fan. This was Tiger’s first trip to Rajkot and he was excited about performing in front of the 5,000-member audience there.”

Tiger says, “I was not nervous at all performing on my home ground. It felt so good! I felt alive in the atmosphere and the crowds energy was infectious! I thought it was one of my best performances.”
