Reel to real

A strange incident happened on the sets of David, an upcoming film directed by Bejoy Nambiar. The film was being shot in Goa and one particular scene that had to be filmed on actor Vikram required a shack. The unit created one and interestingly the reel shack has now been converted into a real restaurant.

A source says that the shack that was created for the scene gradually became popular amongst the tourists and locales of the beach city. It drew so much attention that a resident Goan actually purchased the shack and converted it into a restaurant. The shack that is situated at a lake side in a quaint village on the outskirts of Goa has become a popular hangout.

A spokesperson confirms, “Yes, an incident like this did happen. Our reel shack has now turned into a real one.”  Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, David is an action thriller starring Vikram, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Tabu, Lara Dutta and Isha Sharvani.

The story revolves around the lives of three different Davids who are about to take a step that will change their lives forever.  The film is slated to release next month.
