We know Deepika Padukone causes a stir wherever she goes but this is huge even by her standards. The actress who often enthrals us with amazing pictures from the sets of Vin Diesel’s XXX: The Return of Xander Cage, has caused quite a stiry after she was spotted with tennis ace Novak Djokovic coming out of The Nice Guy in LA. British tabloid the Daily Mail covered the story but failed to note that his ‘female companion’ was Deepika Padukone.
They wrote in an article: “He was seen sitting courtside at a basketball game at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, on Tuesday evening. But Novak Djokovic was not content with sampling one LA pursuit as once the final whistle blew at the match between the Orlando Magic and the Los Angeles Lakers, he hotfooted it to celebrity haunt - The Nice Guy.The world number one tennis player appeared to have had a great night as he was pictured exiting the bar - popular among LA's A-lister set - in the dark hours of the evening with a female companion.”

Why The Daily Mail couldn’t recognise Deepika is beyond us. The duo were clicked exiting the restaurant together and getting into the same car and driving off.
But we guess we should chill, it’s not like they were spotted kissing like Cristiano Ronaldo and Bipasha Basu, all those years ago. At that time Bips had clarified by saying: “'Yes, it was me in the picture. It was taken at an opportune moment and has been taken out of context. Again, it looks like a case of irresponsible assumptions.”
Well we aren’t making any irresponsible assumptions here, and we’re sure the duo were just hanging out. After all the World Number 1 is happily married while Ranveer Singh is literally the best boyfriend ever.
After all, at the recently-held Zee Cine awards, where he appeared on stage several times and even face-timed her. “Deepika got both the Jury’s Choice and the Viewer’s Choice Best Actress Awards.
