Pulkit Samrat-Yami Gautam reunite for another project

Earlier this year, they were seen together in Sanam Re. The film that made more news for their lead pair hooking up than their antics on screen. Now Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam are reuniting for Junooniyat.

The film was incidentally announced exactly a couple of years back. In fact, it was even completed before Sanam Re. Both films have the same producer and the latter was released first. Now that some time has gone by since their last release together, the makers are set to release this Yami-Pulkit starrer  on June 24. Just like Sanam Re, Junooniyat is a musical romantic film set in North India. “The shooting has been held extensively in Kashmir, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. Pulkit plays an Army officer in the film while Yami plays a local girl,” a source adds.

Directed by Vivek Agnihotri , the film is expected to showcase the chemistry between Pulkit and Yami quite effectively. “Speculations around their alleged proximity continues,” an observer adds, “It would be interesting to see how the onscreen relationship between Pulkit and Yami plays out on screen. After all, back then, when Pukit had started shooting for the film (in November 2014), he had just got married. In fact, he had to even miss his honeymoon as had to report for the film’s shoot.”

The film releases on the same day as Anurag Kashyap and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s violent drama Raman Raghav 2.0.
