Mickey Rourke signing up real sports stars for new movie

Mickey Rourke is signing up some top British sporting stars, Danny Cipriani and Joe Calzaghe, for his upcoming flick.

Rourke will play the lead role of gay Welsh rugby star Gareth Thomas. But he wants real athletes, not actors, to feature as his team-mates.

Melbourne Rebels star and Kelly Brook's ex Cipriani is at the top of his list. England's Paul Sackey is also in the frame.

"Mickey took Joe out to tap him up for his thoughts on Wales. He's one of the most patriotic men in the country," the Sun quoted a source as saying.

And he is about to begin an intense egg-chasing training schedule and have his two front teeth taken out so he looks like Thomas.
