Kriti Sanon opts out of Lucknow Central, not because of Farhan Akhtar

The reports that Kriti Sanon has opted out of newbie Ranjit Tiwari’s Lucknow Central is only partially true. Because these reports state Kriti opted out of the film as her co-star Farhan Akhtar has had a box-office setback lately.

Kriti protests strongly to these insinuations. “Not true at all. I was very excited about doing Lucknow Central as it is a really good script. My decision to opt out had nothing to do with Farhan. Unfortunately, the shooting schedule of the film got changed and because of some of my prior commitments I had no option but to opt out of the film. I  look forward to working with Farhan in the future.” Saiyami Kher has replaced Kriti in the film.
