Kapil Sharma's Comedy Style: You won't believe how much Sony TV spent for the promo shoot!

Comedy Nights with Kapil ended on an emotional note last month with Gutthi crying and singing her final song on the podium. They promised to be back with a bang and now they are finally coming back. Albeit on a different show on another channel. This time, Kapil and company are back in a show called Comedy Style on Sony TV and they have already shot the promo. 

An official announcement is yet to be made but Kapil has already confirmed the news. "Ganpati baba ki mehar rahegi hamare oopar bhi. Bahut hi achcha show lekar aa rahe hain aur ummeed hai ki logon ko pasand aayega," he told in a chat with a channel. 

And the promo for the show has already been shot. It will feature the entire team in black, riding a helicopter which is then hijacked by Navjot Singh Sidhu and they land up on the sets in an autorickshaw. "Maine decide kiya tha kuch aisa promo shoot karte hai jisme stylish lagen. 15 seconds ke baad hum apni aukaat mein aa jaayenge," the comedian laughed it off. 

But nevertheless, Sony TV who has been below Colors, Zee and Star in the TRP charts is planning an extensive PR campaign to encash on the show's recall value. A source tells us, "The channel has gone all out and has spent a bomb to shoot the entire promo that will go on air shortly." Approximately, around Rs 50 lakhs have been spent just for the promo and it's not a joke! Guess, Sony is leaving no stone unturned to make Comedy Style the show to look forward to.
