John Goodman reunited with his TV daughter Sara Gilbert for the first time in 20 years as they spoofed their classic sitcom "Roseanne."

The veteran was a guest on former child star Gilbert's US daytime show "The Talk", and they opened the episode sitting on their Roseanne couch as they reprised their roles as Dan Conner and his daughter Darlene, now all grown up, reported Contactmusic.

In the comedy sketch, a flannel shirt-clad Darlene tries to broach a sensitive subject with Dan as he watches TV.

Goodman's character died in the series finale, which originally aired in 1997 at the end of the ninth and final season of "Roseanne".
