If Dil Chahta Hai gets remade in Hollywood, here are the actors Farhan Akhtar wants to cast!

When Kamal Sidhu asked Farhan Akhtar about a movie he wished he had directed, he jokingly said, “Dil Chahta Hai! Wait a minute, I DID direct it!” 

Further when Kamal Sidhu asked Farhan how he ended up working with his school friend, Ritesh, he said, “When I wrote the script of Dil Chahta Hai, so at that time, from my point of view at least, somebody just came and told me, “Ritesh is looking to produce a film, so why don’t you all meet?” So, we met. It was very comfortable, very easy. It just felt like we picked up from where it had left of, those years ago. There was no issue whatsoever of thinking that is this person going to want something more from me?” 

When he was asked who he would choose, if he had to remake Dil Chahta Hai with a Hollywood cast, he said, “Oh God, with a Hollywood cast? Ryan Gosling for Sid’s character, Matt Damon for Amir’s character and who could I take for Saif? Somebody fun! May be like a Jack Black or someone!”
