Here's the TRUTH behind this VIRAL picture of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh!

As per reports that are doing the rounds, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were apparently asked not to make joint appearances in public by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, owing to their respective characters in the upcoming flick Padmavati.

Since DP plays the protagonist, Rani Padmini and Ranveer essays the role of Alauddin Khilji, it was thought in the best interest of the film that they not be seen together as there won't be any scenes of the two of them together in the film.

While rumours about their relationship going sour have been floating around, they duo quashed all such reports by arriving at Karan Johar's bash together recently. Soon after that party, a picture of the duo hugging each other surfaced online and went viral, leaving the fans excited. 

However, the said picture is actually not genuine. Yes! The picture doing the rounds is fake. It is a photoshopped picture of Deepika and Ranveer as the original picture has DP hugging her good friend Jitesh Pillai.
