Kamya who's batting for the release of the last film that Pratyusha starred in, is currently at odds with her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh, who has filed a case against her. While Kamya has lashed out against Rahul in her interviews, in another interaction, she has opened up about how her break-up with Karan Patel left her devastated and also explained how she could have also killed herself, just like her friend who is no more. 

She told SpotboyE, "Trust me, I still can't forget the depression that Pratyusha was undergoing in her last days. I myself underwent a depression around the same time because I had a heartbreak."

Without naming Karan, she added that he deserted her, "Absolutely. He simply walked out on me when my world revolved around him. Without my knowledge, he was having an affair."

She also mentions that she's currently single and has no plans of falling in love, "Not really, but yes, I have become a bit bitter in life. As of now, I am very much single and there's no one on the horizon. Kal ka kisko malum? Actually it's written on my forehead 'Stay away from me'."
