The speculated contestants open up on whether they have been approached for the show or not...
Ever since the first announcement of Bigg Boss 9 was made, every possible website came up with a speculative list of their own. So did we. From Radhe Maa to MSG star Gurmeet Ram Rahim ginh ji Insaan, there were a lot of faces we want to see on the show. But it was later reported that some of the prominent TV faces will be a part of the show.
Here's a lowdown on who's been approached and who's not.
Who's approached?
Among the list of people approached, there is Amit Tandon, Ankit Gera and Sana Saeed.
When asked about the same, Amit Tandon had told us, "I have been approached for Bigg Boss 9 and I am positive about it. I am a difficult person to live with, but I have done several reality shows and I would love to take up the challenge."
Similarly, Ankit told PTI that like every year, this year too, the channel has approached him to be a part of the show. But will he be a part of it? He's yet to decide!
Another person who was approached was Sana Saeed. But the TV star dismissed all rumours stating that despite being approached, she's not taking up the offer because she has other commitments.
Also, Gaurav Gera who is famous for his Shopkeeper-Chhutki jokes came out and quashed speculations. He clearly wrote that although he's a huge fan of the show, he will never be a part of it. Wasn't he offered? Yes, he was but he decided to not take it up.
Who's not?
Leading the list of TV stars was actress Rashami Desai. When contacted, Rashami denied even being approached for the show, let alone be a part of it.
Uday Chopra also clarified his stand on the show on Twitter and wrote that more than Bigg Boss, Survivor is what he would 'love to be a part of'. And Uday has not even been approached for the show. So no ways, he's coming on board.
Radhika Madan who plays Ishani in Meri Ashiqui Tumse Hi is also miffed at the rumours. She cleared her stand explaining that it's all false news and the channe; has not even approached her for the show.
Maybe?
While Ankit Gera accepted that the channel has approached him but he's yet to make a decision, his ex-flame Roopal Tyagi decided to take a 'no comments' stand. When asked about it, Roopal clearly told reporters that she cannot comment or talk about it right now.
Along with Roopal, another TV star who's keeping mum on the topic is Mahhi Vij. She chose not to comment on anything right now.
With Salman Khan launching the show amidst huge fanfare and media presence on Monday, we wonder if he too will reveal who the contestants are this season. We won't be surprised if he keeps us guessing till October 11. But as of now, we definitely have some idea for sure.
