After Rakeysh Mehra, Aanand L Rai gives Sonam Kapoor a huge compliment for Neerja!

Blockbuster filmmaker Aanand L Rai known for his small town but big ticket films, has been all praise for one of his favourite people- Sonam Kapoor and her brilliant performance in Neerja. Sonam who last worked in Rai's 100 crore grossing Raanjhanaa organised a special screening of the movie for the filmmaker.

Directed by Ram Madhvani, the biopic chronicles the courage shown by Neerja  Bhanot, a Pan Am flight attendant who saved 359 lives of passengers during a hijacking at Karachi airport in 1986. Aanand Rai who shares a warm equation with Sonam ever since Raanjhanaa was keen on watching the film which can only be described as Sonam's most challenging one this far. 

The director was heard raving about her performance in the film and even maintains that she was perfectly cast in this role. Said Aanand L Rai, "Neerja is the most humane film I have seen in recent times.My favourite Sonam Kapoor is at her best. Her casting is bang on in the film."
