Ahmedabad students find English paper easy

Over 11 lakh students have registered for the Class 12 exam and over 16 lakh candidates will appear for the Class 10 tests this year.

Class 12 students from city who had appeared for the first paper of Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) termed it to be easy. While students across the country too found the paper easy, many could not attempt all the questions due to lack of time. However, students who appeared for English paper on Monday here not only found the paper easy but also got time to re-check their answer sheets.

The Class 10 and Class 12 board exams conducted by the CBSE began on Monday. Over 11 lakh students have registered for the Class 12 exam and over 16 lakh candidates will appear for the Class 10 tests this year.

The exams started with the English Paper for Class 12 students, and Class 10 students appeared in vocational courses such as dynamic retailing, info technology, security, etc.

"The paper was so easy that I got time to re-check the paper. I could re-check my answers thrice. Infact, comprehension was also very easy", said Yash Punjabi, a student of Divine Child International School.

The situation was same for Aditya Shah, a student of Udgam School for Children. "Aditya was very happy after the paper and he did not find the paper lengthy. The questions were asked from the syllabus itself and there was no surprise element in the paper. He also got lot of time to revise his answers", said Nishit Shah, father of Aditya.

Interestingly, for Nandini Vaghani, the paper was lengthy however she could complete it in time. She said, "The paper was lengthy because of report writing and letter writing but I could very well manage to finish in time."
Class 12 students will appear for Physics on Wednesday.
