HC pulls up Haryana govt

A day after the Punjab and Haryana High Court slammed the Haryana government for its apparent inability to implement Section 144 in the district, despite the order, Advocate General told the court that there was a ‘clerical mistake’ in the order passed by DC, Panchkula.

As the Dera followers laid siege to Panchkula after the hearing, Punjab and Haryana High Court came down heavily on the Haryana government asserting that there had been a “complete collusion” between people moving into the city and state government.”
