Anna asked me about my condition and listened to my problems, he was very humble. He has promised to help me in every possible way, says Krishna
Eleven-year-old Krishna, who had been battling with Hemangioma and wished to meet his idol Anna Hazare, was granted a meeting with his idol after DNA reported it on Saturday. Krishna has had to undergo many operations every year because of the disease. After his father Lal Singh was denied help by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, the family decided to request Anna for help, but the core team rejected their request for a meeting. However, after it was published in DNA, Anna himself decided to call the boy and meet him.
DNA, on Saturday, had reported that Krishna who along with his father had joined the campaign against corruption in Ramlila Maidan and wanted to meet Anna, but his volunteers had refused to allow him to meet his idol. However, after one of Anna's core team member Jaikant Mishra told him about the child, he called Krishna and his family to meet him. "Anna told me to call the family as soon as possible," said Mishra.
Narrating the experience of meeting his idol, Krishna said, "Anna asked me about my condition and listened to my problems, he was very humble. He has promised to help me in every possible way."
After hearing about Krishna's condition, Anna promised him to write a letter to both the Delhi government and Central government, so that the boy's family can get every possible help.
Lal Singh alleged that he had been a part of 2011 India against Corruption Movement but after Arvind Kejriwal decided to form a political party, he left the movement midway and provided his free services to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as Sisodia had promised to provide him help after AAP comes into power. But just after the AAP came into power, the leaders blocked his contact number and left him and Krishna struggling.
