Arjun Tendulkar, son of the legendary Sachin Tendulkar, has been included in India's Under-19 team that will tour Sri Lanka next month.

The Rahul Dravid-coaches team will play two four-day matches and five ODIs in the island nation. Arjun, though, has only been named in the side that will play the four-day games.

Aashish Kapoor, Gyanendra Pandey and Rakesh Parikh - India Under-19 selectors - named Delhi wicketkeeper-batsman Anuj Rawat as the captain for the four-day squad. The one-day outfit, on the other hand, will be led by Uttar Pradesh's Aryan Duyal.

Arjun's selection was on the cards all along as the left-handed all-rounder was a part of the core group of U-19 players who attended a camp at the Zonal Cricket Academy (ZCA) and played matches in Una recently.

The 18-year-old has often been seen practicing in the Indian cricket team's nets, even having a hit with his illustrious father in India and abroad. The left-handed middle-order batsman and left-arm medium pacer bowler has been playing for his state side Mumbai consistently since the past few years.
