BPL 2019: Andre Russell picks maiden hat-trick for Dhaka Dynamites- Watch

Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2019: Andre Russell picked up his first BPL hat-trick on Wednesday for the Dhaka Dynamites. Russell took three wickets off three balls in the final over of over of the Chittagong Vikings' innings to complete his second T20 hat-trick. Mushfiqur Rahim, Cameron Delport and Dasun Shanaka were the three victims 

Chittagong Vikings scored 174 for five in 20 overs after Mohammad Shahzad and Cameron Delport gave them a good start. Sunil Narine removed Shahzad and Yasir Ali. However, it did not stop the flow of runs as Delport and Rahim added 79 runs for the third wicket. 

Chittagong Vikings were 167 for two when Russell struck first. He got Rahim (43 off 24 balls) trying to clear the fence. Delport fell on the next delivery attempting another big one. Dasun Shanaka was then caught at short fine leg playing the paddle sweep as Russell completed his hat-trick. 

Russell then added 39 runs off 23 balls with the bat. However, his efforts were in vain as Dhaka Dynamites managed to reach 163 for 9 in their 20 overs. Chittagong Vikings won the match by 11 runs.
