    State-run Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL) is scouting for partners for clean energy projects in the UK, Europe and North America.

    "EESL has invited an Expression of Interest (EoI) to enter into a strategic partnership with organisations that work in the space of clean energy, energy efficiency, low carbon growth strategy. To begin with, EESL is looking for partners from UK, Europe and North America," it said in a statement.

    The last date of submissions for the initial round is July 3, 2017. The results for the same will be announced on July 13, 2017.

    This process will be repeated every quarter for new strategic partnerships and new projects.

    EESL implements the world s largest energy efficiency portfolio (worth 5.6 billion pounds over a period of three years).

    It aims to promote and implement low- carbon, energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions in both public and private sectors.

    Power Minister Piyush Goyal inaugurated the affordable LED scheme 'UJALA' on May 13, 2017 in the UK and launched the UK operations of the EESL.

    Inorganic growth strategies like mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures will remain the foundation of the EESL's growth strategy in UK, it said.
