Prison workout: Even in jail, Salman Khan doesn't ignore fitness regime

    Salman Khan is qaidi number 106 at Jodhpur central jail until District and Sessions Judge hear his bail plea in blackbuck poaching case. While spending time in the jail, the Dabangg star skipped his dinner on Thursday and didn't eat the breakfast of porridge and gram on Friday morning. 

    But he continued with his daily workout.

    According to a report by Times of India, a jail officer revealed that Salman Khan worked out for three hours on Friday. The regime included crunches, push-ups, skipping, jumping, and etc.

    Reportedly, Tiger Zinda Hai star refused to see a doctor when jail officer asked if he would like medical opinion over his restlessness.

    Though he skipped the jail breakfast, the report further states, he asked if he can purchase something from the jail canteen. He had a glass of milk and bread after that.

    "He went off to sleep around midnight and got up for a few minutes at 6.30am when the jail siren sounded. He went back to sleep and got up at 8.30am," Vikram Singh, jail superintendent, told the daily.

    Salman Khan will have to spend few more nights in jail as the District and Sessions Judge, who was scheduled to hear the actor's bail plea in blackbuck poaching case has been transferred by the Rajasthan High Court.

    The Rajasthan High Court transferred Sessions Judge Ravindra Kumar Joshi along with other 87 district judges.

    Joshi was scheduled to take the decision on the bail plea, filed by the actor in Jodhpur Sessions Court on Saturday.

    The actor had on Thursday appealed for a bail following his conviction in the 20-year-old case.

    Salman was sentenced to five years in prison after being held guilty of killing two blackbucks in Jodhpur during the shooting of his movie Hum Saath Saath Hain in 1998.
