October to have its world premiere in Dubai

There is a huge audience for Bollywood movies beyond Indian shores. In fact, that is the reason why films have been collecting big numbers overseas. Sensing both — a love for their movies and the commercial prospects — Hindi cinema actors have always had an ace up their sleeve when it comes to promoting their new releases. And, heartthrob Varun Dhawan is about to set the temperatures in UAE soaring with his next offering, Shoojit Sircar’s October.

This love story, which is due for a global theatrical release on April 13, is all set to get its world premiere in Dubai two nights before. The film, which revolves around Varun and newbie Banita Sandhu, has piqued the curiosity of cinegoers after the trailer was released Film buffs are eagerly looking forward to it. 

October is not your regularlove-at-first-sight story, but is a tale of deep, unconditional love. Says a source, “The entire team is happy and excited about the Dubai premiere as the world of October will finally be unveiled to a movie-loving audience overseas.” Varun will walk the red carpet with Banita. The duo will also be accompanied by producers Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar.
