Madhuri Dixit-Nene will launch the first ever re-rendering of her chartbuster Dil Toh Pagal Hai on social media, today. The new version has been sung by a band, 6 Pack Band 2.0, comprising six specially-abled teenagers. The six teens, who are suffering from what the world would call a debilitating disability, have re-rendered the title track of Dil Toh Pagal Hai — the late Yash Chopra’s youthful musical toplining Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri, Karisma Kapoor and Akshay Kumar — that has been recreated by Shameer with additional lyrics by Kumaar. The new version is a collaboration with singer-composer-song writer Vishal Dadlani. A source says that Madhuri has loved the concept of the band, and the re-rendering of her song which is serving as a metaphor to how society views specially-abled children.

Ashish Patil, Vice President (Yash Raj Films), Talent & Brand Partnerships, Creative Head at Y- Films says, “To get to work on one of Yashji’s cult songs is mad enough, but to have that blessed by Madhuri Dixit herself, how crazy is that? But this is one special  project that not just justifies but mandates dreaming big. After all, when these six supremely talented teens show us how they are capable of doing anything irrespective of their challenges, why can’t we? So, get ready for the 6-Pack Band 2.0’s version of Dil Toh Pagal Hai and help us create greater awareness about mental health and disability.”
