Kajol helps Tota Roy Choudhury with his Hindi for 'Helicopter Eela', Here's how

Popular Bengali actor Tota Roy Choudhury, who has previously acted in Hindi films like Te3n, Kahaani 2 and Indu Sarkar, plays Kajol’s husband in her upcoming release, Helicopter Eela. Given his penchant for perfectionism, Tota wanted to improve his diction for the Pradeep Sarkar directorial. And considering the fact that Kajol is multi-linguist, she was his best resort for improvement in his Hindi. Her Bengali roots notwithstanding, the actress, with over 30 Bollywood films to her credit, is very familiar with the nuances of Hindi, and helped her co-star with his dialogues. Moreover, she also rehearsed the scenes with him till he got his diction perfect. 

Recalls a crew member, “Kajol is a really helpful co-star. When she saw that Tota was having some difficulty with Hindi, she immediately agreed to help him. The exercise of rehearsing the scenes before the final shot aided him to improve  his diction and dialogue delivery. It was also a fun moment for all of us on the sets to watch them rehearse.”
