The fact that Late Sridevi's daughter Janhvi was making her Bollywood debut with the film, attracted a lot of people to the theatres. Fans were also excited to see if Shashank Khaitan and Karan Johar could recreate the magic of 'Sairat'. The newcomers have been promoting Dhadak across cities since the past one month and that also helped the film. However, from now on the box office performance will depend solely on the word-of-mouth.
It will be interesting to see whether the film will be able to bring Ranbir Kapoor's 'Sanju' to a halt on Monday, or not.
