The Dutt biopic WON'T clash with Salman Khan's 'Tiger Zinda Hai'

The yet to be titled Sanjay Dutt biopic starring Ranbir Kapoor as the protagonist finally has a confirmed release date. A lot of speculations were going on about an apparent clash between Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai and the Dutt biopic as both the movies were to release on December 23 this year. But now, the clash has been averted successfully.
Now, the Ranbir Kapoor film will hit the theatres next year on March 30. An official statement that has been released, confirms the new deal that has been inked between Rajkumar Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Fox Star Studios. It reads, "Fox Star Studios inks a 3 film deal with Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra over their next ventures. Collaboration commences with Sanjay Dutt’s untitled biopic releasing on March 30, 2018, followed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s directorial next.”

Though the statement doesn't mention anything about the third film, buzz has it that it's going to be the third part of the Munna Bhai series. Now that the Dutt biopic has been shifted to next year, Salman's Tiger Zinda Hai will have a solo release on December 23.
