The makers of Irrfan Khan's upcoming flick Blackmail have unveiled its latest track Bewafa Beauty which also marks the comeback of Urmila Matondkar on the silver screens after a long gap of 10 years. Much like her fans, we were waiting anxiously for the song to be released. Now that Bewafa Beauty is out, we're at a loss of words to express how we feel.

Don't get us wrong, we're completely bowled over by Urmila's nazaaqat and her on point expressions. Her swift moves and thumkaas still make us swoon and add to that, Urmila's charming smile and her nakhraas, it just reinstates our faith in the adage that 'age is just a number'. What left us disappointed is the choreography and the music of the song.

The lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya present some clever word-play in the fusion of both English and Hindi (read Hinglish) terms, much to our dismay, the composition by Amit Trivedi lets us down. The lyrics aptly narrate how an unfaithful beauty cheats on her beloved, which is essentially what the plot of the film revolves around.

The pace of the track neither lands it in the category of a dance number nor does its beats give you the feel of a soft, hummable track. Bewafa Beauty lands somewhere in the middle of these two, leaving us somewhat bewildered. Pawni Pandey tries to do the best that she can with her vocals but again, the beats don't help her to do much. We expected more out of Amit Trivedi, especially for this number.

Coming to the choreography, it was supposed to be THE big comeback of our very own Rangeela girl, who's previously made us groove to the beats of Tanha Tanha, Chammma Chamma, Aaiye Aa Jaiye, Kambakth Ishq, Mast and many other songs but we feel Bewafa Beauty didn't do full justice to the return of Urmila Matondkar. Urmila's moves do prove that she's still got the swag and panache to pull off an item song, how we wish that the song would have done justice to her dancing abilities. We love you Urmila and we just feel that you deserved a better comeback song!
