Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli shake a leg with SRK at their reception

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s wedding saw just their families in attendance. However, the couple hosted receptions in Delhi and Mumbai to make sure that their friends and colleagues too were part of the celebrations. After a do in Delhi, which was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other political bigwigs, B-Towners, and sportspersons turned up in huge numbers for the Mumbai function. For the big night, while Virat wore a Raghavendra Rathore navy blue bandhgala, which he teamed with white Jodhpur breeches and a pink pocket square, Anushka opted for a Sabyasachi gold and silver work lehenga. 

Like the Delhi event, this do too saw the guests dancing the night away. Shah Rukh Khan, who has shared screen space with Anushka multiple times, shook a leg with the newlyweds on a few Punjabi songs as well as Chaiyya Chaiyya from Dil Se. Among B-town’s leading ladies, Katrina Kaif, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Rekha, Kangana Ranaut, Kriti Sanon, Priyanka Chopra, Diana Penty, Vaani Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Sridevi dazzled on the red carpet.

Besides SRK, Ranbir Kapoor, Abhishek and Amitabh Bachchan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Varun Dhawan, and Sidharth Malhotra were the dapper dressers of the night. Aside from Virat’s colleagues, including Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh, and the rest of the cricket team, legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar, Sourav Ganguly, and Anil Kumble too were present to extend their good wishes.
