The khiladi of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar, who is shooting in the Wai district of Maharashtra for his upcoming film Kesari, had to go through a difficult sutuation as there was no toilet on the sets of the film.

Yes, you read that right. Akshay Kumar had no toilet to his disposal on the sets of the film and in fact had to literally manage without it for hours.

And why is that so?

There wasn't a toilet on the sets of Kesari as the Vanity Van Association is on a strike.

Bollywood Celebrity Vanity Van Association has been on an indefinite strike since December 10, opposing Maharashtra Government's tax regulation.

Amd clearly, due to the strike, the cast and crew of various films are bearing the brunt of it.

According to a report by Dainik Bhaskar, Akshay Kumar had to go to the nearby studio to use the toilet. The report further states that the association is opposing Maharashtra Government's rule which charges tax for each vanity van at Rs 1.25 lakh per annum.

In other states, tax on vanity vans is not more than Rs 12,000 per annum and in some others, a lifetime tax of Rs 1 lakh is charged.

Meanwhile, Kesari, starring akshay Kumar is one of the most anticipated projects of the year 2019.

Produced by Karan Johar under his home banner Dharma Productions, the film will see Akshay playing a military commander of 21 Sikh soldiers named Havaldar Ishar Singh who fought against thousands of Afghani invaders.

The film is slated to release on March 22, 2019.
