Actor Sandeep Nahar, who co-starred with Sushant Singh Rajput in 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' and Akshay Kumar in 'Kesari', allegedly died by suicide at his residence in Mumbai's Goregaon area on Monday.

After his tragic death, his co-stars Anupam Kher and Akshay Kumar both reacted to the news and fondly remembered their co-star. Akshay took to his Twitter account and shared a photo of Sandeep from the sets of 'Kesari. He wrote, "Heartbreaking to know about #SandeepNahar’s passing away. A smiling young man passionate for food as I remember him from Kesari. Life’s unpredictable. Please seek help if ever feeling low. Peace for his soul."

On the other hand, during an interview, Anupam, who played Dhoni's father in the hit sports biopic, said that the news of Sandeep's death brought back memories of their time working on the film.

Anupam said, "I didn't know about it last night, but I read about him a few hours back and immediately connected his presence in M S Dhoni: The Untold Story."

He further said, "Sandeep was a happy-go-lucky guy. I met him on the sets of that film only. I had about two-three scenes with him. He had more scenes with other actors in the film but he was undoubtedly a good actor."

For the uninformed, on Monday evening, Nahar had taken to his Facebook page stating that he was going to die by suicide. He also attached a video of himself talking about his life and just how he was suffering at both personal and professional levels.

In his post, Nahar had said that he might take an adverse step to end his life as he is quite exhausted coping with the toxic relationship that he shares with his wife Kanchan Sharma. Nahar stated that Kanchan and he fight almost daily on petty issues, which are affecting his health as well as his professional life.
