Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa has convened an emergent cabinet meeting tomorrow.

The cabinet is meeting for the second time in a 24-hour span.

The chief minister's secretariat sources remained tight-lipped over the new development that came up even as Yeddyurappa rushed to Delhi to consult the BJP high command over moves by governor HR Bhardwaj who has been studying a request by a lawyers forum seeking permission to prosecute him in alleged land scams.

Bhardwaj said he was studying the petition which he termed as "ticklish".

"It is under consideration. There are so many angles. It is a very ticklish issue", Bhardwaj told reporters here when asked about the petition to prosecute Yeddyurappa and home minister R Ashok filed by Justice Lawyers Forum.

Yeddyurappa chaired a cabinet meeting today and later left for Delhi.
