After the leak of three alleged sex tapes featuring him, Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) leader Hardik Patel on Wednesday said he will make some shocking revelations about some BJP leaders at his rally to be held on November 18 at Mansa town of Gandhinagar district.

Talking to DNA, the Patidar quota stir leader said, "I am firm on my stand and did not deviate from my path. I will be organising many rallies in the near future. I will make a shocking revelation at the rally in Mansa. I don't want to say what it will be about, but it will sort of be a great explosion."

Hardik has chosen Mansa, the ancestral village of BJP national president Amit Shah, to hit back at the BJP. He claimed that the people from across Gandhinagar, Sabarkantha, Arvalli and nearby areas would gather at the rally.

"I have been holding rallies with the same zeal and there will not be loss of temperament at any moment. I addressed a rally in Bharuch on Tuesday evening; that received great response from the people," Hardik added.

After the rally, Hardik posted a tweet in Hindi which, roughly translated, said, "Let us believe that I am wrong. Lynch me when you get the chance to, but the core issue is the right of the society. The issue is the future of farmers and the youth. Why is the BJP government not acting upon these issues?"

Hardik has been receiving sympathy from various sections, including his own community. The urban youth have come out in support of the PAAS leader, with social media posts backing him.

A senior BJP leader said, "People believe the BJP leaked the sex tapes, but the fact is that this is the outcome of the rivalry within the PAAS. The BJP has gained on the political ground, but the Patel community in rural areas is opposing Hardik after this incident."

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel said, "The Congress is making efforts to shield Hardik. This is not about someone's personal life, this is about honesty and ethics. It was a shameful act, Hardik indulged in it, and some people have come to his defence."
