The health department of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has reported 175 malaria cases in the blistering heat in the first 12 days of the month.
The rise in the temperature has also resulted in the high number of waterborne disease cases.
The city reported 482 gastroenteritis cases, 109 jaundice cases and 121 cases of typhoid till May 12, 2018.
