Jawan box office collection day 3: Shah Rukh Khan film continues to break records, crosses Rs 200 crore mark in India

Shah Rukh Khan's action-packed entertainer Jawan is unstoppable at the box office as the film, released on the occasion of Janmashtami on September 7, has been breaking box office records on each passing day and has turned out to the second blockbuster for SRK this year after Siddharth Anand's Pathaan, which hit theatres in January.

As per the early estimates from he entertainment tracking portal Sacnilk.com, Jawan made Rs 74.50 crore on its third day, Saturday (including the three languages of Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu), after earning Rs 128.23 crore net in its first two days in India, and the three-day total collection of the film stands at Rs 202.73 crore, out of which it has made Rs 177.73 crore in Hindi and Rs 25 crore in the two dubbed languages.

Talking about its worldwide gross collections, Jawan earned Rs 240.47 crore in its first two days itself at the global box office. The film has been a huge success not just in India, but in the overseas markets too, where Shah Rukh Khan enjoys immense popularity. The film is on course to enter the Rs 500 crore gross worldwide in its extended weekend.

Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, Jawan has Vijay Sethupathi as the main antagonist and Nayantha marking her Bollywood debut as the leading lady. Deepika Padukone makes a special appearance and Sanjay Dutt is also seen in a cameo in the second half. The director Atlee himself is seen for a few seconds in the Zinda Banda song.

Sanya Malhotra, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Girija Oak, Aaliyah Qureishi, and Priyamani form the part of Shah Rukh's gang of girls who help him in deadly missions to eradicate social evils in the country. Sunil Grover, Mukesh Chhabra, Eijaz Khan, Jaffer Sadiq, and Naresh Gossain among others are also a part of the cast.
