Kenya's opposition alliance is expected to name veteran Raila Odinga as its presidential candidate at a rally on Thursday, political sources said.
"It is a Raila-Kalonzo ticket," a senior official from Odinga's Opposition Democratic Party said, referring to Odinga and his vice-presidential pick, Kalonzo Musyoka. A senator from another party in the alliance confirmed the ticket.
Kenyan voters will go to the polls in August to choose a president, lawmakers and local officials. Incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta is seeking a second term.
