Rochelle Rao is all set to make her digital debut with Abhay Deol and Mahie Gill in the web series '1962: The War In The Hills'. Rochelle, after working in 'The Kapil Sharma Show' and being a contestant on a popular reality show, will mark her debut with her first acting project.

Comprising of a stellar star cast, '1962: The War In The Hills' has been directed by none other than the multi-talented Mahesh Manjrekar, who Rochelle states was an absolute dream to work with.

Speaking about her experience, Rochelle said, "There was so much to learn from Mahesh Manjrekar sir while being directed by him on set. Being an actor and a director, Mahesh sir always observed both sides of the coin and understood where we actors came from and our perspectives. He was absolutely brilliant with the vision he had in mind for the show and each of our characters which he brought to life in such a lovely manner."

Rochelle further added, "He truly believed that I would be able to portray 'Rimpa's' role and he was a great support system to me and our entire cast throughout the shoot. The way in which he motivated us to give our best inspite of the hectic shoot hours and unpredictable climate that we were shooting in, really gave us all a different high and made us enjoy our shoots to the fullest."

Starring Abhay Deol, Mahie Gill, Sumeet Vyas, and Rohan Gandotra, '1962- The War In the Hills' will be streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar VIP on February 26.

"Working with such a prominent name as Mahesh sir who has been an integral part of our industry for years at a stretch, proved to be an amazing learning experience for me. I ensured that I took in every bit of knowledge that he passed around on set. Be it about acting or even behind the camera elements, he was superb with the way he handled everything on set, and his vision about how he wanted the show to shape up was crystal clear", Rochelle concluded.
