Drashti Dhami or Sanaya Irani to replace Surbhi Chandna in 'Ishqbaaz'; Nakuul Mehta to leave the show?

Rumour mills have it that the female lead of the show, Surbhi Chandna is bidding goodbye to one of the most popular shows on television, Ishqbaaaz.

Latest update on the same is that actresses Drashti Dhami or Sanaya Irani are likely to romance Nakuul Mehta after Surbhi's exit.

Yes, a report in Imwbuzz, suggests that either Drashti Dhami or Sanaya Irani will be cast opposite the lead of the show Nakuul Mehta post the leap on the show. 

"Talks are happening with Sanaya Irani and Drashti Dhami to play the lead. The makers are looking for a very popular face to play the female lead post its leap," a source said, as quoted by the publication.

Well, if this is true, it will be interesting to see a fresh face opposite Nakuul on the show.

But, on the other hand, die hard fans of Surbhi Chandna will be heart-broken and disappointed. 

Meanwhile, we are curious to know which actress will finally be roped in to play the female lead opposite Nakuul Mehta. 

For the uninitiated, Drashti Dhami recently quit Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka as she was not comfortable essaying the role of a mother on-screen. 

But if Ishqbaaaz, Drashti wouldn't have to worry about anything like that! 

Same goes for Sanaya Irani, who has a huge fan following and has impressed everyone with her acting prowess in shows, including Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon and Miley Jab Hum Tum.

At the outset, the makers of Ishqbaaz have decided on giving the show a leap in order to revive the show, as it is not garnering the required TRPs. 

Post the generation leap, it was said that Nakuul Mehta will be seen playing his own son, Shivansh.

But, according to recent report that have surfaced online, there was a buzz that along with Surbhi, Nakuul too is quitting the show.
