Bigg Boss 12: Is the Salman Khan show going to premiere on September 16?

Salman Khan hosted controversial TV reality show Bigg Boss, which since its inception, has managed to garner viewership and love of the audience, has a release date for its 12th season now. According to a report by India Forums, the show is all set to hit the small screens on September 16 this year. This date is tentative, and nothing on the same has been confirmed as of yet. 

The portal mentioned that there may be further changes in the programming schedule of Bigg Boss 12 in future. Soon after Bigg Boss season 11 came to an end, speculations about season 12 had already started doing rounds. 

The makers of the show announced the auditions soon after the end of the 11th season and mentioned that the new season will have jodis (couples) as contestants. Since then, conjectures took the front seat. 

Many names surfaced on social media, but nothing is known for sure. Some reports also suggested that unlike every year, the reality show hosted by actor Salman Khan, will be aired earlier this time, after which Khatron Ke Khiladi will go on air. 

With the speculated date, the excitement amongst Bigg Boss lovers will surely heighten! Meanwhile, names like Dipika Kakar–Shoaib Ibrahim, Srishty Rode–Manish Naggdev, Gurmeet Chaudhary-Debina Bonnerjee, Rithvik Dhanjani-Asha Negi among others are said to be among the tentative contestants, competing this season.
