Finally! The Sasural Simar Ka actors Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are married. The duo got hitched as per traditional Muslim rituals in a private ceremony on Thursday in Bhopal, which is Shoaib's native place. Though, the marriage ceremony took place as per Muslim traditions, reports suggest that Dipika has not changed her religion for the same. 

 

Dipika, who essayed the protagonist in daily soap Sasural Simar Ka looked drop-dead-gorgeous in her wedding attire. She wore a bright pink ensemble with gota-patti details and accessorised her outfit with kundan neck pieces, mang tika and hath phool. On the other hand, the groom Shoaib, who played Simar's husband Prem in the show, was seen decked in an embellished light pink sherwani.

Some fan pages of the actor have also shared images and videos from their wedding. Going by the pictures, it surely seems like a fun-filled family affair.

Prior to the wedding,their Haldi and Mehendi ceremonies too took place with desi swag and enthusiasm. The Indian Express quoted a source as saying, "Shoaib and Dipika, both wanted a very personalised affair. Being quite private people, they chose to have the ceremonies in Bhopal to avoid the constant media attention. Also, with Shoaib's family residing there, it helped them in organising a grand yet a close-knit wedding."
