Bigg Boss 11: Shilpa Shinde's mother reveals the reason why her wedding with 'Maayka' co-star Romit Raj was called off

The week that went by was pretty high on emotions for the contestants of Bigg Boss 11 as their near and dear ones paid them a visit inside the Bigg Boss house. However, the catch was that it was for the luxury budget task called 'statue' wherein the housemates were required to remain in the 'freeze' position until they were 'released' by Bigg Boss. 

One of the most emotional meeting was that of Shilpa Shinde and her mother who told the housemates that she's very happy that her daughter has been given the title of 'Maa' but they must respect that designations as well and not abuse her. She was greeted by everyone (except Arshi Khan) and she took their leave on a happy note as well. 

After coming out of the Bigg Boss house, Shilpa Shinde's mother revealed the reason why Shilpa's wedding with her Maayka co-star Romit Raj was called off just 2 days before the big day. In an interview with a leading portal, Shilpa's mother shared that Romit had proposed to her and Shilpa has accepted his proposal because he was a fine gentleman. 

Turns out that later Shilpa felt that their thought process and idealogies don't match at all. Not just that, reportedly, there was a lot of difference of opinions between the two families as well. That's why they both mutually decided to go separate ways and their wedding wa called off.
