FIFA Women's World Cup 2019: Marking the official opening of the tournament, FIFA and Google came up with an incredible doodle.

This will be the eighth edition of the tournament and the doodle has a cartoon of women wearing different football jerseys and playing the game.

The doodle is a part of a series of caricatures that will be published by Google. Many of these will be made by guest artists representing each of the competing countries.

24 countries are participating in this year World Cup which will be played across nine venues in France. Of the 24, four teams will be making their debut - Chile, Scotland, South Africa, and Jamaica (which is also the first Caribbean team to qualify in World Cup).

The opening match will be between the hosts France and South Korea at 12:30 am on Saturday in Parc des Princes in Paris. France is ranked 4th and are also clear favourites.
