David Beckham may reconsider his decision to shift base to Paris, as his wife Victoria does not want to leave Los Angeles.

David is literally torn between a multi million pound deal with Paris Saint- Germain or stay in America where his wife and kids are happy.

A European return would extend his playing career at the top level and pave the way for him to captain a British Olympic team next year " an ambition he holds dear, the Daily Star reported.

But Victoria has told him that she is not too keen to move.

She has a flourishing career in LA and the couple’s children " Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, nine, Cruz, six, and Harper, four months " are well settled and happy.

“Victoria doesn’t want to move to Paris and has told David she doesn’t want to live there,” a source close to the former Spice Girl said.

“She told him she found it hard enough adjusting to life in LA when they first moved and she is putting her foot down.”

Victoria has said that she is not willing to uproot the children again and that while it was fine when they were younger, the boys are doing well in school and have a good network of friends and a move would be severely prove disruptive for them.

The 37-year-ol may possibly get her way too as David’s LA Galaxy employers are set to make him a very tempting job offer.

He could be made the vice-president of AEG, the world’s biggest sports and entertainment company.

LA Galaxy owner Tim Leiweke, who is also the boss of AEG, is quite eager to keep the midfield hero, who spearheaded his team to win the MLS Cup earlier this month.
