There's no doubt about it, the Winter Olympics in Sochi have been bigger and better than ever this year. This is the first Olympics to be held in Russia since it was known as the USSR in 1991, and there are a total 98 events in all, ranging from, ski jumping, snowboarding, luge and biathlon mixed relay. But although people at the games can enjoy the beautiful scenery and the amazing set up at the venue, what about the rest of us who only get to view select glimpses from our TV sets?

NASA addresses that problem by providing some beautiful pictures of the Sochi Winter Olympics, from space.
