I didn't even watch football before we started going out, says Tim Howard's girlfriend

Tim Howard's Scottish girlfriend, Sara McLean has revealed that she did not care for soccer till she started going out with him.

McLean, a banker in London, has admitted that they don't talk about football that much and if she ever has a football related question, the Team USA goalie just laughs, the New York Post reported.

McLean said that the couple spoke for nearly an hour before the last Tuesday's match against Belgium where Howard performed amazingly, breaking the World Cup record with 15 saves, but not once did the game related topic came up nor did Howard seem nervous about it.
