Early this month, Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani made a huge announcement regarding Reliance Jio - customers who own a Jio SIM card will soon be able to register for Reliance Jio Prime membership programme. Now, the company has announced a new "buy one get one free recharge" offer for a limited period for users who subscribe to the Jio Prime plan, before March 31.
Two offers are available under this plan: The Rs 303 plan will offer you a free add-on of 5GB, which is equal to a Rs 201 booster pack. On the other hand, the Rs 499 pack, or higher, will offer you a free add-on of 10GB, which is equal to a Rs 301 booster pack. These add-ons will be given to users automatically.
Recently, Jio also introduced new prepaid and postpaid plans for Prime users. To become a Jio Prime member, you need to pay Rs 99 as an annual subscription fee. You can opt for Jio Prime before 31st March 2017. The service will come in effect starting April 1, 2017.
To recall, Mukesh Ambani had announced that over 100 million customers availed for the Reliance Jio service in 170 days and customers downloaded 100 crore GB of data in January 2017. This has helped India become the country that uses the most data in the world.
